We’re on the hunt for a housing officer to hit the ground running to cover 3 month fixed-term contract. Are you hunting for a challenge with an ambitious organisation and ready to join us on our mission to deliver ‘Great Places’, Great Services’, and ‘Great Tomorrows’.

You’re truly customer focussed and ready to deliver a broad range of services to our customers across the East Midlands, due to the nature of this role we have a number of locations in the Amber Valley area which could serve as your base location.

Using your practical knowledge and problem-solving you’ll be providing a customer-focussed approach while supporting the work of the Safeguarding and Domestic Abuse Coordinators and Homechoices team, whilst collaborating with external partners to enhance and support the wider community needs.

Far from being bound to your desk, you’ll be given the technology to work effectively in the community.

This role will give you the perfect platform to showcase your housing background and the skills you’ve gained in a range of tenancy matters from sign-ups, tenancy breaches, safeguarding, domestic abuse issues and attending court.

• Ensure all tenancy matters, including changes to tenancy, are actioned in a way which demonstrates effortless customer experience.
• Ensure a focussed response to ASB and other tenancy breaches using appropriate action and ensuring cases are responded to quickly and professionally. Taking responsibility for any legal and court action required, ensuring evidence is secured, witness statements and court paperwork completed in a timely manner and in conjunction with any legal representative of the organisation, attending court as and when required, including directional hearings on behalf of the organisation.
• Provide short term tenancy support to customers who are at risk of, or in breach of their tenancy. Signposting to partners where appropriate.
• Undertake regular inspections, taking responsibility for resolving low level issues in a re-active manner.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with partners, providing effortless experiences for customers.

Who are we looking for?

Supporting every employee of Futures Housing Group is our amazing ICT Team, no matter what the problem is, the determination is to fix the problem and look to continually improve the service that the team offer to our internal customers.

We’re on the hunt for an ICT Service Desk Technician to complete our proactive team . We’re a progressive company there’s never a dull moment so you’ll be putting the skills gained in your career so far to great use.

You’ll demonstrate real team spirit, the desire to be hands on, be willing to attend various FHG sites, you’ll be looking for variety in a role using your skills in 1st/2nd/3rd line support, dealing with numerous ICT requests from office-based and remote staff, checking and building ICT kits, meeting room checks and other ad hoc queries whilst delivering on challenging and interesting projects.

You’ll be self-motivated, priority focussed demonstrating excellent customer service skills whilst providing support by email, phone, instant message and face-to-face demonstrating a positive attitude, motivating, and influencing others during busy periods.

• Be the 1st point of contact for the ICT Team receiving tickets via email, phone, instant message and in some instances face to face, whilst making sure all information is recorded in the Service Desk system.
• Adopt a best practice approach to ICT Service Delivery and Support, working in accordance with appropriate standards such as ITIL and ISO20000.
• Provide support services internally to the ICT team, including but not limited to; technical input/support; data preparation; ICT procurement; liaising with third party suppliers; maintaining supplier records; provision of management information/reports, documentation and all aspects relating to assisting the team in the development, delivery and support of the Group’s ICT systems.
• End to end management of incidents, problems, support, and change requests, with escalation to internal 1st/2nd line support and/or external suppliers where required.
